Based in Dallas, Pine West Development (PWD) is a private real estate investment firm specializing in development in Texas and the Rocky Mountain region. 

 

Since we are a privately held company, there is no bureaucracy or inflexible policies.  Calling upon our breadth of experience, we take an entrepreneurial, creative approach to our development projects, ultimately delivering the right solution for our clients and the surrounding community.

Combining four decades of experience, PWD's managing partners have developed, acquired, financed, operated, and sold commercial and residential real estate throughout the United States. In total, the managing partners of PWD have developed and acquired more than $1.1 billion of properties, consisting of 5.6 million square feet of commercial space and 4,900 multifamily rental units.

 

Our current emphasis is supporting the growth needs of retail tenants through build-to-suit and ground lease developments.

Site Selection

Utilizing advanced software tools and local market knowledge, we target off-market properties located in strategic locations that will generate above-market returns for our tenants and investors.

 

We examine property-level attributes (access, site history, land use entitlements), demographic trends, and market viability for the intended development product.

Development – Commercial

PWD's managing partners have developed more than 5.6 million square feet of commercial space throughout their careers.

 

PWD's current, primary focus is supporting the real estate growth needs of c-store operators through the development of travel centers along critical transportation corridors throughout the Western U.S.

Development – Residential

PWD develops residential (for sale and rent) housing in markets that are overlooked by large homebuilders and institutional money.

PWD's managing partners have developed 1,900 units totaling more than $380 million of direct project costs throughout their careers.
